LIVING BLUE Nutrition and Lifestyle coaching is based on the simple life principles from communities who live in the Blue Zone. Their diet is rich in plant-based foods and small amount of ultra-processed and processed foods, they spend less time on electronic devices, move more, place a higher value in family, faith and community.

Individualised nutrition and lifestyle interventions are designed by the client with expert health coaching.

My own journey to finding a healthy lifestyle has given me insight into the many challenges one encounters. This enables me to bring a high level of empathy, respect, and understanding.

Blue Living coaching includes analysis of your emotional, cognitive, physical, biopsychosocial and spiritual relationship towards your health, nutrition, fitness, stress, and work-life balance. The primary focus is based on the introduction of behaviour change models, habit forming practices, and adopting simple lifestyle customs from Blue Zone countries.
We offer buddy packages that include assisting clients with their weekly supermarket shop, training and exercising in the gym or outside, as well as cooking blue classes in the comfort of your home, along with meal prep and plans, nutritional analysis and specific life stage nutrition for example menopause.
Nutrition coaching is simplified using the scientifically respected NOVA food classification system, rainbow foods and foods consumed in the Blue Zone. Living Blue also focuses on nutrition for hair loss and weight management.

After my weight loss surgery in March 2022, I was feeling lost and unsure of what my recovery might be. The hospital gave me one follow-up call with the surgical team and then 6 monthly dietician appointments. I was nervous of making wrong decisions.
I need not have worried as when I met Carron I soon relaxed. I'd found the overwhelming list of what I should be eating really hard to understand. Carron simplified and talked through each of the nutritional decisions I needed to make to get healthier. She also took the time to research about gastric bypass and ensure that her support and guidance was helpful and worked in tandem with my tummy.
Carron is always happy to answer questions. Work through my strange thoughts and challenge my fears. So over the past 8 months my mind and body have transformed. I now feel more confident to pick healthy food choices and am starting to ger more exercise in my thoughts. I'd always thought movement ment major investment of time and effort. Which now is not the case. It can be a simple change adding in some dancing, a short walk or doing more house work etc.
The most eye opening activity for me was visiting the shop together and looking at packets for and fats. I still go back to that lesson when I am shopping.
I can't thank Carron enough for being so diligent, friendly and knowledgeable. I am feeling so much better and more healthy. I no longer feel lost. Through this process her guidance and friendship has been so welcomed.

I have known Carron for nearly 15 years, and the one thing that has remained true for her is living her healthiest life and actively looking for ways to help others do the same. Health is her calling, and I am so excited by the way she answered it.
I have had one-on-one coaching with her, and her understanding of the subject matter , and patience with me , made the experience one that I looked forward to immersing in. She constantly reminds me that there is no one-size-fits-all, small consistent steps bring better life-long results and huge leaps and bounds, and while 'cheating' is not a thing, there is always the better decision. Just strive to make more of those.

What is a nutrition and lifestyle coach (NLC)?
A NLC is a behaviour modification expert and provides a holistic approach to their clients health needs. The relationship between a health coach and their clients is a partnership. NLC do not tell their clients what to do, instead they offer guidance and support towards permanent healthy lifestyle changes.
What can a NLC do?
NLC works with their clients so that they can develop healthy habits in all aspects of their life, nutrition, exercise, weight management, stress management, sleep hygiene, work-life balance and wellness practises.
What a NLC cannot do
An NLC cannot diagnose, prescribe or treat chronic illnesses, but often work closely with their clients doctors to create a comprehensive wellness plan.
How many coaching sessions would I need?
The coaching sessions are totally dependent on an individuals health goals and their commitment to achieving success. Usually six, one hour sessions over a period of 6 -12 weeks, is generally a good guide.
What sets Living Blue apart from other NLC coaches?
NLC at Living Blue create bespoke plans - supermarket shopping, buddy training (gym, dance classes, walks etc), at home cooking sessions, in-depth psychosocial investigation into relationship towards an individuals health and wellbeing and ongoing support.
